Teaching Assistants – Bury St Edmunds – September Start Prospero Teaching are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support a range of friendly and supportive primary schools in Bury St Edmunds from September . This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children learn, grow, and feel confident in the classroom. Schools are looking for patient, proactive, and nurturing practitioners who can work closely with pupils, assist class teachers, and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. CONTRACT DETAILS Location – Bury St Edmunds Position – Teaching Assistant Type of work – Classroom support Start date – September Duration – Ongoing / Long-term Full time/part-time – Full time Minimum rate of pay – 90- 100 per day Hours – 8:30 am – 3:00 pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with children (school-based or similar) Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential) Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one Provide two professional child-related references OTHER INFORMATION If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
